HYPERREALITIES is a photographic series that reimagines the tradition of matte painting through contemporary technology. Each work begins with a photograph of an empty exhibition space in which the artist has exhibited, reconstructed as an exact 3D model. These digital renderings are then reintegrated into the images, opening void-like black sinkholes within the real architecture. The series explores the tension between physical space and its virtual double, questioning the stability of perception and the thin boundary between reality and simulation.
